Environmentally friendly and unchanged in performance

To increase the luminous efficacy of fluorescent lamps in particular, the reflectors used are chrome-plated. However, this type of surface finishing produces highly toxic substances that can pollute the environment to a great extent.

In order to protect them, the emergency luminaires of the KCW and KW series are now equipped with a white reflector.

This makes the production process of the luminaire significantly more environmentally friendly, while the luminous efficacy remains consistently good, even with the use of LED light sources and the associated directional radiation.
