Direct connection of emergency lighting systems to building management systems.
The building management system gateway forms a defined interface between building management systems and central power supply systems for emergency lighting. Thus, all system and luminaire information is directly available in the building management system.
The new controller (MC-BMS) ensures that all information from the connected emergency lighting system is read out and made accessible to the outside via ModBus or BACnet. It automatically detects which protocol is supported by the connected building management system.
Until now, one controller per system was required for this. In future, this will be possible with only one controller for a total of 33 networked systems. Depending on the system type, this is installed directly in the control cabinet of the emergency lighting (MC-BMSM) or is available in an external housing (MC-BMS-EXT).
