LEONI - Factory of the future

LEONI AG, based in Nuremberg, is a leading German manufacturer in the wire, cable and wiring systems product groups. The product groups produced are divided into two divisions: "Wire & Cable Solutions Division" and "Wiring Systems Division". Leoni's roots go back to 1569, when Anthoni Fournier opened a workshop in Nuremberg that produced Leoni goods. The main plant is located in Roth near Nuremberg.

LEONI has built the factory of the future at its Roth site. The aim of the factory was to modernise processes, increase productivity per unit area, create modern jobs, establish a framework for innovation, increase energy efficiency and achieve a high degree of flexibility for future changes.
