LENS SYSTEM – GREATER FLEXIBILITY AND SAFETY with plug-in lenses
The RP Group is synonymous with innovative emergency and safety lighting made in Germany. We have been setting the market trends for years with our advanced and well-thought-out solutions. The best example of this is our safety luminaires from the E and IL product ranges, which adapt perfectly to the architecture and requirements of a whole host of buildings thanks to their unobtrusive design and huge number of different variants.
The latest generation of these tried and tested luminaires now comes with durable lithium batteries as standard. One particular highlight is that all E and IL luminaires and other safety luminaires are fitted with our flexible plug-in system (which has legal protection for its registered design) to allow the right lens to be inserted at speed. An integrated lens holder with a rapid fitting fixture makes the flexible use of various lens types possible depending on the application. Each luminaire is supplied with one hall lens and one round lens (IL and E product ranges), lenses for four other angles of reflected beam can be ordered as options.

our interchangeable lenses
ROUND LENS
Lens which radiates light in a circular direction for escape and emergency routes. Ideally suited to large and open areas, such as restaurants or conference rooms.
SPOTLIGHT LENS
The spotlight lens ensures an even distribution of light in all directions. It is suited to ceiling heights well in excess of 4 meters, such as in a production plant. Can also be used for open areas in hotels (hold-up time of 8 hours).
HALL LENS
Lens which directs light in two main directions for spacing luminaires up to 24 meters apart. Fully illuminates long escape routes or corridors even with ceilings heights of more than 4 meters.
H LENS
The H lens is optimised for fitting above 4 meters. It directs light in two main directions to illuminate emergency routes and corridors.
BEAM LENS
The beam lens is used for additional lighting of fire-fighting equipment, signalling units and first aid equipment fitted on the wall as well as escape and emergency plans. It has a light intensity of 5lx as required by the relevant standards.
WF LENS
In safety luminaires mounted on the wall, the WF lens directs the light sideways to the center of the hall. When room heights are low, this allows the luminaires to be spaced further apart than would be the case if they were fitted on the ceiling.

Save money with Flexiklick lens combinations
Get more out of every safety luminaire with the Flexiklick system: thanks to flexible click-in lenses and the option of combining different lenses in a single luminaire, the light distribution can be precisely adapted to the specific requirements of individual areas. This means that additional emergency luminaires are no longer required in many projects, installation is simplified and overall costs are reduced – while still providing reliable, standard-compliant illumination of escape and rescue routes.
Flurkreuzung
This lens combination ensures that both arms of a crossroads are reliably illuminated. Ideal when two areas need to be covered in different directions from a single mounting point.
Crossroads – Rest area
At intersections with a pre-zone/waiting area, this combination creates a focal point of light in the central area while also illuminating the corridor. The ‘junction’ is additionally highlighted, while the escape route remains clearly marked.
Emergency escape route
In addition to illuminating the escape route, an emergency point, such as a fire extinguisher or first aid station, is specifically highlighted. This ensures that the escape route remains clearly marked and that important equipment can be found more quickly in an emergency.
Emergency escape route - Work area
In work areas, this variant combines escape route lighting with a stronger spotlight for key points (e.g. workstation, technical point or fire extinguisher). The layout allows flexible placement of the focal point, while the escape route remains clearly visible.
Emergency exit with escape route
This combination, installed above the emergency door, indicates the escape route to the door and also provides additional light immediately in front of it (antezone/outdoor area). This simplifies safe orientation when escaping outside.
