The MC-BMS-EXT controller (wall housing) is an optional application in a network. Each safety lighting system can consist of a main station and up to 32 substations. Each central unit (main station or substation) manages up to 96 circuits, to each of which up to 20 lights can be connected and monitored. The controller works with the gateway to ensure that all information from the connected emergency lighting systems is read out and made accessible externally via ModBus/IP or BACnet. The BMS controller automatically detects which protocol is supported/used by the connected building management system.
