The multiControl plus MCS system (standalone housing without battery compartment) is a centralised power supply system for universal use in accordance with DIN EN 50171 for supplying 230V / 216V AC/DC safety and emergency exit sign luminaires. Suited to safety lighting systems in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-560, DIN EN 50172 and DIN VDE V 0108-100, which can be equipped with up to 96 freely programmable circuits with different power ranges in an easy-to-service 19” modular system.
Using the integrated automatic test equipment, up to 1920 luminaires can be supplied, monitored and managed per system. With the help of the extensive cabinet system, which is provided with the multiControl plus system, the entire system can be adapted to and integrated into a huge range of different building characteristics. Users can choose from various wall-mounted and standalone cabinets for the electronics and battery as well as compact cabinets, which combine the two in one housing.
Depending on the variant used, sub-distributions and/or up to 32 further substations, each with up to 96 circuits, can be connected to the multiControl plus system and managed to shift the work of installing a large number of circuits into the respective building fire sections.
